NATURAL RESOURCES

ARTICLE 1
WOODLAND LAKES RESOURCE CONSERVATION AND
DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION

Whereas, the Woodland Lakes Resource Conservation & Development Organization of DeKalb County, Indiana is dedicated to the preservation of the health, safety and general welfare of the residents of DeKalb County, and

Whereas, there is a need for the services of the Woodland Lakes Resource Conservation & Development Organization to protect the health, safety and general welfare of the residents of the DeKalb County area and the promotion of commercial growth.

Now therefore, be it resolved that the DeKalb County Commissioners do hereby grant to the Woodland Lakes Resource Conservation & Development Organization the sum of $250.00 to be used by the organization to defray such expenses of the organization as the board of the directors of the organization deem to be proper. The Auditor of DeKalb County is hereby directed to withdraw the amount of $250.00 from the DeKalb County Industrial Revolving Grant Fund Recovery Proceeds and fund the grant as outlined in this ordinance.

ARTICLE 2
INDIANA MAUMEE FLOOD CONTROL

Be it resolved that the County Commissioners of Allen, Adams and DeKalb Counties hereby enter into a joint agreement forming themselves into a study committee to resolve the mutual problem of flood control relief in the Maumee River watershed in northeast Indiana. The committee will be called the "Indiana Maumee Flood control compact." The committee will determine by January 15, 1986, the best and proper method for obtaining flood control relief.

PARTICIPATION MAUMEE BASIN COMMISSION

BE IT RESOLVED that the County Commissioners of DeKalb County hereby consent to be a "participating County" in the Maumee River Basin commission, as established by I.C. 36-7-6.1, et seq.
