Commissioner's Seal.  Ordered the following metallic seal be adopted as the seal of the Board of Commissioners for DeKalb county until a more suitable one can be procured to wit: Said seal shall be about one inch in diameter, dotted around the edge the words To facilitate trade in large Roman letters around the edge inside of said dots and the figures 1825 at the bottom so impressed as to read transversely on paper and the devise of a man bareheaded, sitting on a bundle holding a pair of scales in his left hand, in the center.

Commissioner's Seal Revised

Commissioner's Seal Revised.  Ordered that the following described metallic seal be adopted as the seal of this board in the place of the one which was heretofore adopted which is hereby abandoned to wit: Said seal shall be about one inch and one fourth in diameter with a smooth rim raised around the edge and the Roman capital letters B, C, DeK, C be raised in a circular form around the edge inside of said rim on the upper side except the letter e which is in small romans, meaning Board of Commissioners of DeKalb county and the word SEAL raised in roman capitals at the bottom with a device in the center representing a plow in furrowed ground and thirteen stars above them, all raised so as to sink the impression on paper.
